Motivational Speaker and Career Success Coach Jenn Lee will be speaking on how to have more successfull Work - Home balance.

Greetings from Greater Orlando! It is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of this dynamic chapter as we begin our 49th year. The support and mentoring provided by our membership encourages growth, development and the ability to step outside our boundaries with confidence.
Our Board is representative of our Chapter with women in diverse professions in the construction industry, who are creative, motivated, blended with experience as well as a bright, youthful outlook. We are a community of unique women who interpret contract documents, plans and schedules, provide legal counsel, estimate and prepare bids, are concerned with safety issues, and provide support services, the workforce, materials and equipment.
We are motivated to make available new information, education programs, and changing technology for our members, as well as to those in the community by providing professional speakers at our monthly meetings and through our NEF certification programs. We make a valuable contribution to our community by providing the Block Kids Building Program, CAD Drafting Awards, Mentor A Girl In Construction Camp, and Scholarships to promote careers in construction. These events benefit us individually, our member companies for their support, and those in the community who participate.
Our Chapter is very proud to be represented at the NAWIC National level by Jean Cox, CBT, Region 3 Director, and at the NEF National level by NEF President Pat Walker, CIT, CDS, NEF Treasurer Lil Starn, CIT, CDS, CPA-Ret, and NEF Parliamentarian Riki Lovejoy, CIT, CBT and NEF Block Kids Chair Paula Lane, CIT. These professional women have paved our way with their leadership skills and serve as mentors for us to “Link our Chapter’s success in the past with our progress into the future”. We pledge our support to help them achieve their goals and objectives during this upcoming year, and beyond.
My personal commitment is to increase awareness of our association by participating in events with our partnering agencies in the industry such as ABC, AGC, FHWA, and FTBA, students in our local schools and universities, as well as other women-based organizations. Communication is the key to any successful endeavor, especially when promoting our core purpose to Enhance the Success of Women in Construction.
