As Miami Chapter 41 celebrates its 50^th Anniversary, it will be my privilege to serve as President for this coming year. Along with an outstanding board, composed of very intelligent, motivated, dedicated and experienced women in the construction field, I hope to guide the chapter to reach our strategic plan goals for the year.

As a chapter, our goals will be to attract new members through enriching opportunities in varied educational subjects that will enhance and empower them within the construction industry. As a former educator, education is extremely important to me and we will work hard to establish relationships within the community as we participate in Block Kids, and we strive to add the CAD competition. Community Service without a doubt is at the forefront of our goals. We understand that it is better to give than to receive and what better way to preach the values of NAWIC and what we can do when we work together. As the chapter’s President, it is my intent to motivate our membership to:


                                    Believe in ourselves as Women

Persevere with the strength of our Convictions

Dare to move into new horizons

I am certainly grateful for the support system within NAWIC governance and the guidelines that will help me promote teamwork, encourage involvement and continue to build a solid chapter as we promote NAWIC’s Mission and Core Values.
